To use liquid foundation, start with a clean and moisturized face. Shake the bottle well before use to ensure an even application. Apply a small amount of foundation onto the back of your hand, a makeup sponge or a brush. Starting at the center of your face, blend the foundation outwards using a makeup sponge, brush, or your fingers. Be sure to blend evenly and work in thin layers to avoid a heavy, cakey look. Use additional product as needed to achieve your desired level of coverage. Blend the foundation well along your jawline and hairline to avoid a noticeable line of demarcation. Finally, set the foundation with a setting powder or spray to extend the wear time and reduce shine.
